Astrology as a resource

Astrology- Who knows more about their personal chart beyond their horoscope? Raise your hand…Maybe I'm being optimistic, but I truly believe society is becoming more enlightened about what astrology actually is, what it was and why we should pay more attention.

As an avid seeker of all things human and esoteric alike, astrology made its way to the forefront of my awareness back in 2009 in the midst of a difficult, identity-shaping transformation brought on by divorce.

A friend recommended I look into a book called, “Astrology for the Soul”, by Jan Spiller.

I took her heart-centered advice and bought the book.

I searched the chart inside to find my north node then began devouring the 48 pages that were basically describing my life.

The accuracy of what I was reading compared to what I was going through brought me to tears and I immediately felt this information would have been so helpful to me had I known about it in my twenties, or even sooner.

It’s basically a User Manual for life as a human!

I felt so much relief from my circumstances, simply reading that I was not crazy, somehow these feelings and this situation is KNOWN.

Plus, there is a whole science behind this knowledge, this knowledge that is ancient and can be taught and mastered today.

Now, I know what my fellow seekers are going to say, “Well, you probably wouldn’t have paid any attention to it because these epiphanies come to us when the universe knows we are ready to hear them.  Everything is in Divine Timing.  Besides, when we are in our 20’s, we already know everything!”

And I agree, 100%.....but, still, I wanted to send a copy of this book to every young adult I knew and every mother I knew…I wanted to shout it from the roof tops, “There is a book of knowledge we must understand!!”

Of course I didn’t do that, but I did start learning more about astrology and referencing my children, my ex, my friends, my employers, etc…

To my surprise, what happened was a shedding/releasing of control, an acceptance of individuation and a deep understanding of our humanness.

As the years progressed, I have referred this book to so many people and lost more than one copy of my own in my attempts to aid a friend in darkness or share these mystery school secrets of our origins.

While I am not an expert in astrology, I still refer to my chart and read the details of its meanings and connections to my daily, weekly, monthly and yearly life.

I have a good friend who is so intuitive in her understandings of astrology, it is difficult for her to have a conversation without referring to something in a person’s chart that directly relates to the issues they are discussing.

It’s truly amazing!

In studying ancient civilizations and ancient spiritual philosophies, I have found evidence of my theories around astrology and how it was so much more…it is a very intricate and profound tool for understanding our own human nature and comprehending the world we live in, including this planet and the rest of our galaxy.

In this way, armed with this ancient wisdom of how my person was created at the exact moment my soul entered into this plane of existence and the ripple effect that caused throughout the universe, I can appreciate my natural strengths and weaknesses.

I can interpret what common human processes I find easy and intuitive while others are harder to compute.

And just like I felt with the book, I want to shout to all the recruiters and talent hunters, corporate HR staff and small business owners, “Ask about their astrology!  What is their rising sign, what planets are in their 2nd house, where is Mars in their chart, where is Venus?”

I will leave you with these thoughts:  What if this way of understanding who we are was something we naturally learned as small children?

What if Astrology was multiple classes through our educational systems and was viewed as normal?

This WAS the way of life in ancient times.

Think of Jewish School for children of Jewish families.

It is normal and expected for them to learn about their heritage.

Every single human on this planet has an astrological chart that is unique to us, it is a secret guide to who we are, what we excel at, what we are here to do, what our life’s mission is- our chart can even tell us what parts of the planet are most beneficial for our success.

I invite you to dive deeper into your own personal astrological chart and I especially invite recruiters to investigate this as a means to personalize your brand, standout among your peers and help you find the “really rightest bestest” people for the highest happiness and permanency in their placements.

Wouldn’t making your clients and your candidates happy and fulfilled be a WIN/WIN for everyone?
